1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Futurerent website and the information, tools and services made available through it (the Website). The Website is operated by Future Rent Management Pty Ltd (ABN 40 625 855 825) (Futurerent, we, us). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the Website.

2. General information only

Information on the Website is provided for general information purposes only. Futurerent does not provide financial services or financial advice. The Futurerent product is not a loan or other credit product, is not subject to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth), and is not directly comparable to a loan or financial product. The Futurerent product is an agreement that allows Futurerent to provide an agreed sum to the property owner at the commencement of the agreement, with Futurerent being paid from future rental income due to the property owner. Full agreement terms are available on request.

References and comparisons to credit and financial products are for illustrative purposes only and may not take into account all relevant features of each product, including fees and costs, risks and taxation implications. Futurerent makes no representations as to the suitability of financial products for any consumer and recommends that consumers seek their own advice.

3. Calculators and estimates

Any calculators, indicative figures or estimates provided on the Website are illustrative only, are based on the information entered and on assumptions that may not apply to your circumstances, and do not constitute an offer or a guarantee of the amount, cost or terms that may be available to you. Actual figures are confirmed only through Futurerent's application and

Futurerent uses technology-assisted tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) systems, to help deliver and improve its services and communications. For example, to help review and summarise documents, prepare internal assessments, classify and route enquiries, and help prepare emails and messages.

You acknowledge that:

  • content generated or assisted by AI systems may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies, and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice;
  • where an AI system is used in connection with a decision that affects you, a Futurerent staff member remains responsible for that decision and reviews the relevant output; and
  • how Futurerent handles personal information in connection with these tools is described in the Futurerent Privacy Policy.

Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the content, design and materials on the Website are owned by or licensed to Futurerent and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print Website content for your own personal, non-commercial use, but must not otherwise reproduce, distribute or commercialise it without our prior written consent.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or submit information that is false, misleading or that infringes the rights of others. Information you submit through the Website (including through any AI-assisted feature such as a chat or messaging tool) should be accurate and should not include the personal information of others unless you are authorised to provide it.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or make use of third-party services. Futurerent is not responsible for the content, products or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Futurerent publishes information on the Website that, to the best of its knowledge, is current, accurate and complete, and takes no responsibility for information being out of date, inaccurate, incomplete or otherwise deficient. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded:

  • the Website and its content (including any AI-assisted content) are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind;
  • Futurerent excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website or its content; and
  • where liability cannot be excluded, Futurerent's liability is limited, at its option, to re-supplying the relevant information or service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Privacy

Futurerent handles personal information in accordance with the Futurerent Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Use and explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, including in connection with our use of AI systems and any disclosure of information to service providers located overseas.

10. Changes to these terms

Futurerent may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time you access it applies to your use. We encourage you to review these Terms of Use periodically.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
